Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to lead our advanced battery manufacturing facility. This individual will oversee operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The Plant Manager will be a key player in meeting production goals, managing a high-performance team, and contributing to our mission of transforming energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

  • Direct and oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production meets quality standards and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and supervisors to achieve organizational goals.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, safety, and accountability across all departments.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 9001 and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality assurance programs to guarantee high-performance output.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
  • Identify areas for improvement and lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving efforts.

Safety and Sustainability:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and foster a zero-incident workplace.
  • Promote sustainability practices, including waste reduction and energy efficiency measures.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the facilitys budget, including forecasting and cost control.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Masters preferred).

Experience:

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the battery, automotive, or electronics sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing facilities and teams.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing software.
