Objectives of the Position- Successfully manage the day-to-day operations of Prescors shops- Implement new processes and products to drive continuous improvements (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, TOPS, TOC, and Root Cause Analysis in both a One-Off and Production Run environments)- Recommend new equipment and oversee installs and training- Drive and execute preventative maintenance plans- Support quality control protocols- Investigate inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions in current processes.- Work closely with Sales and Customer Service to ensure that Prescor delivers a quality product on time.- Ensure that shop employees follow all health and safety guidelines and policiesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's Degree- 5+ years of experience in the steel industry- 3+ years as a Plant or Production Manager (Experience managing people)- A competent understanding of steel forming processes and hydraulics Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Experience with hot and cold forming processes Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
