We are currently seeking a Plant Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee operations at one of our most profitable manufacturing facilities. A national leader in the livestock feed manufacturing industry, proudly serving farmers and ranchers across the Midwest. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality livestock feed products. This role requires a strong leader who is well-versed in production, scheduling, maintenance, and quality control. You will manage a team of 20 employees across multiple shifts and will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and maintaining a safe, productive, and quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure high levels of efficiency, safety, and product quality
• Manage and mentor a team of 20 employees, ensuring effective scheduling, performance management, and training
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing downtime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce costs, and optimize overall plant performance
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain equipment and facility in top condition through preventative maintenance and repair programs
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet production and quality goals
• Handle any production-related issues and work to resolve problems promptly to minimize disruption

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in plant or operations management, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams, foster a positive work culture, and drive performance
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, scheduling, maintenance, and quality control
• Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively across multiple shifts and lead teams in a fast-paced environment
• A degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required
