Our client, a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. As a Plant Manager, you will be part of the operations team supporting a dynamic workforce. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen analytical mindset, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Manager

Location: Delhi, New York

Pay Range: Up to $160K + 20% target bonus + stock options

What's the Job?

• Direct the overall activities of the manufacturing facilities to ensure customer orders are received, scheduled, produced, and shipped efficiently.
• Analyze plant operations to maintain a leadership position in the industry and implement new processes and technologies.
• Manage expense control, including shrink, yields, labor, and overhead costs utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Develop and manage the annual manufacturing expense budget in accordance with forecasted sales volumes.
• Implement plant safety programs and ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and food safety policies.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in managing P&L in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in food manufacturing, with a preference for candidates with union experience.
• Experience in implementing changes to improve employee retention and overall operations.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team, ensuring proper staffing levels and performance evaluations.
• Familiarity with corporate, customer, and government audits to ensure compliance.
