Job Description:
ResponsibilitiesThe Plant Mechanic is responsible for the installation, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of plant equipment which includes but is not limited to the following:* Natural gas and liquids separation & filtration* Condensate stabilization* Amine treating and gas dehydration* Turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression* Turbine power generation* Propane refrigeration* Natural gas cryogenic processing* CO2 compression, treating, and dehydration* Reverse Osmosis water treating & pumps* Heat exchangers & air coolers* Transmitters, valves, actuators, and other instrumentation* Gas and liquids measurement equipment* PLCs and plant control, safety, and communications systems* PDC, MCC, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, generators, and additional electrical equipment* Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)QualificationsIn addition, the Plant Mechanic will be a key contributor to the proactive safety culture. This is a unique grass-roots opportunity in which the Plant Mechanic will play a role in the construction of the facility, along with the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures. The Plant Mechanic will interface regularly with instrumentation & electrical technician, plant operator, engineering, control room, supply chain, management, environmental, and safety teams. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of equipment maintenance and operations and have a proven track record as a leader. Position will have a rotational schedule of day shifts with night call-out responsibilities during the shift.
