We are seeking a talented Plant Operations Manager to join our team and bring our central production facility in Palestine, TX, online. This leader will be responsible for creating, implementing, and continually improving the systems that will drive our production and ensure we achieve our ambitious goals. This is an opportunity for a dynamic individual who is passionate about food production, system optimization, and building efficient processes, to get on the ground floor of an exciting food enterprise.

Key Responsibilities: Create, implement, and continually improve production systems to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery. Oversee all daily operations of the food manufacturing facility, from receiving raw materials to the delivery of finished products to retail locations. Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless integration and alignment across the production process. Design and manage inventory systems to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste. Lead, train, and mentor staff to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement. Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet business needs and sales demands. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards throughout the facility. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on operational success. Manage facility resources, ensuring equipment is maintained and operating at peak efficiency. Support the scaling of operations as the business grows, optimizing processes to handle additional product categories and increased volume.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, food science, or a related field (preferred but not required). 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, production management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and supply chain management. Proven experience in designing and implementing systems that drive operational efficiency. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions. Familiarity with inventory management software and production scheduling tools. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
