Allow our team of experts to provide a customized waste disposal and recycling solution for your company, tailored to your needs, and your goals.Job Description3rd Shift Position- (Sunday to Friday: 10pm-7:30am)Acts as technical resource for the team. Supervises office staff and reviews inbound and outbound waste streams.Works with management team to adhere to implement and develop standard work practicesWorks with team to ensure that daily production goals are metOversees and trains an effective and efficient staff:Makes recommendations for merit increases and performance appraisalsMonitors operations and staff and recommends, when necessary, changes in methods, procedures and structure, to secure optimum utilization of resourcesAdministers all Company policies and procedures, communicates to staff, interprets, as necessary, and ensures complianceMonitors and ensures that employees are performing their functions safely and productively. Makes recommendations for changes or improvement, when necessary, in order to prevent accident or injuriesAssists in ensuring the plant meets regulatory and safety compliance measures and operates in a productive and profitable mannerMaintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, either internally or externallyMaintains efficient paperwork flow to maximize production and profitability.Perform periodic audits and review of inbound containers and provides feedback to appropriate management groupDevelop and maintain working relationships with vendors.Performs other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.Salary: $65,000 w/opportunity for overtimeQualificationsBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDExperience 2+ years in supervisory or leadership roleExperience 2+ years hazardous and regulated waste processingPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in ScienceKnowledge of Microsoft office and basic computer skillsKnowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA RegulationsEnsure that team members are performing their functions safely and productively.Make recommendations for changes or improvement, when necessary, to prevent accident or injuries.Lead and motivate cross-functional teams and individuals.Ability to openly and honestly deal with internal and external customers while building credibility and maintaining trust.Ability to make sound and thorough decisions.Ability to finish tasks and project deadlines.Ability to work in fast paced environment.Additional InformationClean Earth offers competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans starting on the first day of employment; paid time off, wellness benefits, employee discount program, tuition assistance, and a 401k with company matching.We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity, or genetics.
