Rogers Group is currently seeking a Plant Operator that will float between our Fayetteville, Shelbyville, and Cowan Quarries located in Southern Middle Tennessee. The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience operating a crushing plant or working with crushers, conveyors, and screens. This position will report to the plant manager. Wages starting at $21.00/hr.

Job Details:

* Full Time

* Day Shift

* Location: Float between Fayetteville, Shelbyville and Cowan Quarries

* Wages start at $21.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

* Operating and monitoring a crushing facility

* Routine equipment / plant maintenance, and involvement with plant improvement projects

* Operating production equipment as needed - such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer

* Clean-up around site

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

* 1+ years of experience operating a crushing plant preferred.

* Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is required.

* Knowledge of wash plant and crusher equipment.

* Able to do safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day.

* Capable of demonstrating equipment and troubleshooting knowledge.

* Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens preferred.

* Ability to understand basic safety and work instruction.

* Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.

* Good organizational, scheduling and time management skills.

* Welding experience helpful along with general maintenance and repair abilities.

* Experience in heavy equipment operation a plus, but not required.

* Team player mentality.

* Working outdoors in varied weather conditions with the probability of dust, noise, heat, and cold.

* Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
