Plant OperatorDivision: Boral Resources NSW P/L Department: METRO QUARRIES NSW Work type: Permanent - full time Location: Peppertree QuarryYour next opportunity We are thrilled to present a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated Plant Operator to become an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated team. As the latest addition to our workforce, you will undertake responsibility for ensuring the secure and proficient operation of our quarry's fixed and mobile plant equipment located at Peppertree Quarry, Marulan site.Please note that this role will be a day and night rotation shift pattern.Day shift hours start at 8:00am till 8:00pm consecutively for 4 weeks. You will work 4 days on with 4 days off.Night Time shift hours start at 8:00pm till 8:00am consecutively for 4 weeks. You will have 4 nights on and 4 nights off.Within this role you will be expected to work weekends and public holidays as per your roster.Your day will involve:
  • Operating the plant control plc safely and efficiently
  • Loading Trains through the TLO computer system
  • Completion of daily reports,
  • Safe operation of dump truck, front-end loader, water cart and other quarry mobile plant as required
  • Basic maintenance including Screen Media changes and site housekeeping
  • Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
What are we looking for?
  • Quarry experience highly regarded, but not essential
  • Experience in mobile plant operation and HME licences are advantageous but not essential
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work Monday to Saturday
