Glacial Lakes Energy (GLE), a corn ethanol industry leader, is seeking Plant Operators in our Huron, SD location who want a career with an organization that is benefitting our agricultural community.Starting wage is $22/hr PLUS $3/hr while working night shift. We will train you for a career with our certification program (while we pay an additional $2.50 per hour upon completion) and we offer AMAZINGLY GENEROUS benefits. This position is responsible for the operation of a state of the art production facility. This includes start up, monitoring and shutdown of equipment, sampling and testing of the products, plant housekeeping and light maintenance. Founded in 2001, GLE employs approximately 180 team members between four ethanol facilities located in Watertown, Huron, Aberdeen and Mina. You will work in a leading South Dakota producer of renewable fuels facility, be involved in method development and you'll capitalize and build upon your industrial knowledge and skill base. - High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
- Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Experience in plant production is helpful.
