Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:The Plant Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and managing a group of Document Control and Quality Assurance Specialists and providing support to operations in the area of Quality Assurance to ensure a high-level Quality Management System. This role supports the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Quality systems and processes. This role participates on teams developing, designing, installing and starting-up new products, product improvements, and technology upgrades to ensure that they are compliant with the Quality Management System. This role participates on project teams as a functional expert. The QA Manager collaborates with other technical and functional disciplines, as needed, to effectively solve problems. This role manages the training program, provides training in functional areas of expertise, and provides the communication of technical material to non-technical people, both oral and written. This role is responsible for eQuality Management System development and implementation, coordinating data for Quality Management reviews, coordinating third party audits and management of internal audit, CAPA, complaint and document control functions. This Role is responsible for managing External Manufacturing (EM) Quality releases.In this role, you will:Manage the day-to-day activities of the quality department, including testing, reporting, training, collecting and analyzing quality data, and coordinating data for quality performance reviews with the plant leadership team.Develop, implement, and maintain stringent quality standards and procedures to meet quality expectations and relevant regulations to compliance to CGMPs.Ensure overall QMS system compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements.Support the qualification approval process for bulk and finished products through partnership with cross-functional team members.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality expectations and address non-conformances/deviations from agreed-upon standards.Provide technical and decision-making support and/or data analysis in managing situations and issues relative to quality.Support project teams and initiatives as neededManage and ensure compliance with testing programs and maintain Quality KPI's.Provides operational support and analytical problem solving.Manage day-to-day quality documentation processing in support of ongoing operations not limited to Complaints, OOS's, LIR's CAPA, NCR's, SOP's, forms, specifications.Lead, coach, develop and manage a team of Quality Assurance and Software Specialists.Manage team handling role-based training curricula and tracking training completion. Communicate training status and gaps to management on a routine basis. Provide Plant LT recommendations on gap resolutions and systemic improvements.Ensure general functional training and support, e.g. onboarding, is provided. Work with team to develop content and deliver effective training on QA topics.Oversee training to key stakeholders on eQMS (Intelex, SAP, Synergy/Zontec) as required, and collaborate on best practices with internal and external partners.What we look for:5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.Degree in field - Microbiology or related preferredProven direct leadership experience overseeing teams, driving performance, and ensuring alignment with plant goals.Experience training and developing, enhancing skills in quality processes, standards, and regulatory compliance.Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and audit quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001.Strong problem-solving skills, with experience using root cause analysis, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to drive process improvements and reduce defects.Skilled in mentoring and coaching teams on best practices in quality control, process audits, and adherence to safety standards.Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, engineering, and production teams to meet quality assurance objectives.Experience managing internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Strong analytical mindset with a focus on metrics and KPIs to continuously monitor and improve product quality.#LI-onsiteWorkplace type:OnsiteWe seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
