We are seeking a reliable and skilled Plant Services Technician to support the Plant Services Department. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, as well as specialized tasks such as painting, wood finish repairs, landscaping, parking lot upkeep, drywall repairs, and branding updates. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for staff and patients with a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.Key responsibilities include conducting preventative maintenance on building systems such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical, along with patching drywall, refinishing wood surfaces, and painting. You will also be responsible for landscaping tasks like mowing, weeding, trimming, and mulching, as well as maintaining the parking lot through sweeping, pothole patching, and line repainting. Additionally, you will help to update and maintain the facility's signage and branding materials. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and infection control protocols are critical, particularly in patient areas.Hours for the Plant Services Technician are Monday- Friday from 7a-330p, with an on-call rotation every 4-5 weeks. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance preferred, with experience in preventative maintenance, painting, landscaping, and basic repairs. A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and excellent attention to detail are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks in various weather conditions. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends or after-hours work, may be required.
