Foster Lawson are currently partnered exclusively with a leading player in the Packaging and Containers space, who are looking to add a Plant Superintendent to their team in Pennsylvania.
The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background in Packaging Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the effective and efficient use of plant production equipment and people
- Foster a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing all safety policies and regulations
- Possess skills necessary to lead machine crew through quality problem resolution and to implement procedures and guidelines to keep it on track.
- Provide leadership to department employees by directing, coaching, supporting and delegating as the situation requires
- Assure efficient use of staff and equipment to meet production needs while maintaining cost and overtime to a minimum
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Foster cross-functional relationships to meet departmental goals.
- Empower Production Department Supervisors for professional growth.
- Oversee the reporting of department s effectiveness
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Packaging Manufacturing
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Packaging Manufacturing
- Bachelors Degree preferred
