The hiring manager is prior USMC.The On-Site Air Separation Plant Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of oxygen and nitrogen producing plants in Front Royal/Elkton, VA and Inwood, WV (someplace like Winchester is a good place to live for this).Important?you will likely get moved to the Suffolk/Chesapeake area within about 8 months, as someone on deployment will be coming back to this location. The second location is in Shelby NC area, (30 minutes from Charlotte).This is a challenging and rewarding job that requires sound technical abilities in the primary on-site product line. The Plant Technician must demonstrate initiative in handling issues and must be self-motivated. The Plant Technician must be on call (typically every other weekend) and able to respond as needed. Training will be provided in safety and plant operations to ensure maximum effectiveness.Base pay, but even though salaried, you make time and a half for anything over 40 hours. They said, typically, about 10% extra for overtime.
