Plastic Mold Setter / Process Leader - Akron, Ohio #24-00739Salary Range: $52k - $83k Permanent Position with Benefits Akron, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Plastic Mold Setter / Process Leader REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate (Trade school / Associate degree is a plus)
- 10+ years' applicable experience in the plastic mold industry
- Use crane and other lifting devices to install mold into press
- Verify proper fit, clamping and ejectors of mold
- Document and /or verify process documentation sheet
- Verify proper nozzle length and tip diameter
- Set up or verify proper water lines
- Set up fixtures and conveyors for production runs
- Monitor controller, chiller, dryer...
- Program automated robotic machine system
- Remove molds to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance is performed
- Read and interpret mold setup process sheets and part production work instructions
- Analyzes and develops new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
