The Kaplan Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is a full-service plastic and reconstructive surgery office located in Edgewater, NJ and in NYC. We offer a wide range of services including cosmetic surgery, Facial Rejuvenation: Facelift, Blepharoplasty, Brow and Neck Lift, Body Contouring: Tummy Tuck, Liposuction, Fat Grafting, Breast Augmentation/LIft, Non-Surgical Rejuvenation with: Neurotoxins, Fillers, PDO Threads, Microneedling, Lasers, and ACNE scar correction. Our staff includes a board-certified plastic surgeon, a director of operations, an office manager, a patient care coordinator, and a front desk administrator.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as an Plastic Surgery Nurse (PSN) at The Kaplan Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Edgewater, NJ. The PSN will be trained to become a Nurse Injector. The PSN will learn how to inject neurotoxins, fillers, and other non-surgical cosmetic treatments. The PSN is also required to assist the plastic surgeon in pre- and post-operative care for surgical procedures and provide patient education and support. The RN, NP, PA is also responsible for non-cosmetic patients including reconstructive and hand patients. Large emphasis on Medical Scribing, Wound Care, Suture Removal. and Nonsurgical injections.

Qualifications

• Current RN, NP, PA license
• Bilingual - Spanish-English Mandatory
• Will train PSN as Nurse Injector - botox injections, fillers, PDO Threads, Lasers, Microneedling, and other non-surgical cosmetic treatments
• Knowledge of pre- and post-operative care for surgical procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team, Passionate Worker
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience in a plastic surgery or aesthetic clinic is a plus
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
