Job DescriptionPosition Profile Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned: The Plastic Fabricator is responsible for precise Plastic Fabrication of custom parts and/or components using customer and/or engineering supplied drawings and other work instruction for specific parts. Must be able to meet or exceed the requirement of the project through manual fabrication. Collaborate with machinists throughout the manufacturing process for each phase of the project. Must be willing to use hot air welding gun and Plastic Fabrication tools and procedures to connect plastic components. Must be able to position clamps and/or fixtures onto components for fabrication. Ability to understand and execute the proper order of operations. Must pay close attention to details on drawings. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
