Machine Operator Job Description: The primary responsibility of this role is to operate and assemble plastic parts efficiently as a Machine Operator or Assembler. You will be responsible for inspection, labeling, punching, sanding, and packing plastic parts while maintaining a focus on quality and productivity.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to produce and assemble plastic parts in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform inspection, labeling, punching, sanding, and packing of plastic components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate part production.
- Utilize measuring tools to ensure product specifications are met.
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize proper protective equipment, including steel-toed or composite shoes.
- Perform quality inspections to verify that all parts meet specifications and standards.
Position Requirements:
- 6 months of machine operating or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs repetitively.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in using measuring tools and reading blueprints/schematics.
- Familiarity with inspection processes and quality control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with safety procedures and use of protective gear.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM / $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM / $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
- 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM / $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
