  • SHIFT: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM Monday-Friday
  • PAY: $25.00/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift
Essential Responsibilities
  • Review job ticket instructions to determine requirements of job production.
  • Make printing plates correctly and in accordance with customer needs and timing.
  • Learn platemaking equipment: CDI, exposure, washout, dryer, and post-exposure units.
  • Complete the plating tasks as assigned in the order entry system.
  • Learn and understand the different types of vendors' plating materials used for job requirements.
  • Learn and understand QC process for work performed.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive, creative impact on the business.
  • Attend all Environmental Health & Safety training sessions and other company-wide and departmental meetings.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures.
  • Follow departmental standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Work overtime when requested by management.
  • When handing off jobs to co-workers/next shift, clearly communicate any information for job completion.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Education, Experience & Certification
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. A trade school certificate in Graphic Arts/Printing is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience with platemaking equipment: CDI, exposure, washout, dryer, and post-exposure units.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to read and understand measurements on a tape measure.
  • Ability to understand and produce printing plates correctly and in accordance with customer needs and
