We are currently looking for a Plate Mounter – Plate Maker to join our team. The Plate Mounter role is responsible for affixing plates to cylinders according to job ticket specifications, at our flexographic label plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand Art Files/Proofs in order to RIP, process and prepare for press.
  • Identify incorrect Art Files/Proofs and complete NCR process for timely support of press.
  • Image and process plates
  • Image and process Rotary Screens
  • Ability to perform incoming inspection on all tooling Quality
  • Record density information on log sheet.
  • Keep accurate records in Radius of time and materials used for each job.
  • Check-in completed plates on Radius
  • Make replacement plates for damaged or worn plates.
  • Make replacement plates for damaged or worn Rotary Screens.
  • Send Tooling Files to vendors as required.
  • Run and Maintain all equipment, as required.
  • Complete all assigned PMs for plate-making and screen-making equipment as scheduled.
  • Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
  • Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining company code of ethics.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively regarding plant requirements with internal and external suppliers
  • Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts which may include painting and cleaning of facility (interior and exterior).
  • Other duties as assigned.
