Summary: Responsible for placing metal cast into plating line and ensure quality of plating operation Position Responsibilities:
- Visually inspecting parts to ensure world-class quality
- Lift small part pans weighing as much as 50lbs. several times a day and load it onto rollers then lift it and pour the parts into the barrel plater.
- Place metal castings into a fixture, on a rack or in a barrel. These parts range in weight from less than 1lb. up to 40lbs. Average weight is approximately 15lbs.
- Manually move large baskets on wheeled carts weighing as much as 1500lbs. several times a day (Average weight of these baskets is approx. 600lbs.)
- All other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some computer skills needed
- Must wear face shields and protective clothing
- Must be able to stand for most of the shift, up to 10 hours a day.
- Must be able to push/pull a pallet jack with loads up to 600lbs. several times a day.
- This is manual work requiring frequent sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking.
- Must be able to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting
- Must be available to work overtime hours on a shift or mandatory Friday overtime
Shift Details 3rd Shift is Sun - Wed, 4X10hr shifts, 8:15 pm - 6:45 am. All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed. Overtime is typically twice a month on Fridays and are 8-hour shifts.
