As a Platform Architect, you will join our US Technical Field Engineering team for Apple's Enterprise Sales organization, working with our Platform Architect Leader. We play a pivotal role in helping enterprise customers successfully adopt and scale our platform across their organizations. Your main responsibility will be to guide customers in building best-in-class IT practices and environments that support the scaled use of our products, ensuring success beyond your engagement. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping enterprise customers deploy, handle, and secure our platform while also addressing their user experience, application strategies, help desk support, and overall lifecycle management needs. A key part of your role will be introducing long-term service offerings that ensure ongoing customer success well after your initial engagement. This is a home based role not requiring you to be based in listed geo. Up to 50% travel is required.
**Description**
We are trusted advisors on the Apple ecosystem, working multi-functionally to drive business transformation and Apple platform adoption. Solution Architecture & Strategy: Lead technical discussions about architecture, deployment, and integration of our platform within complex enterprise environments, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Navigate complex enterprise environments, influencing key decision-makers, leading challenging priorities, and advancing the most critical initiatives. Present long-term service offerings to help customers establish platform success beyond the initial engagement, focusing on the long-term success and scalability of the platform within the enterprise. Measure the success of engagements by the long-term viability and technical soundness of customers IT practices. MULTI-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Work closely with internal teams (sales, engineering, product marketing, and quality) and strategic solution partners to create innovative, customer-centric solutions that transform the way businesses operate using our platform. Collaborate with key customer & internal team members to remove technical barriers and drive customer readiness for full platform adoption. THOUGHT LEADERSHIP & ENABLEMENT: Author and deliver user documentation, training programs, and workshops for both internal teams and external customers, positioning yourself as a domain authority in the deployment and management of our platform in large, complex enterprise environments. Lead and contribute to technical discussions on emerging trends and standard methodologies in enterprise IT. INNOVATION & PROBLEM SOLVING: Consult on the most innovative and impactful solutions for businesses through the use of our platform and technologies. Provide authority guidance in solve and problem-solving complex platform-related challenges, driving resolution while maintaining customer trust.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
+ Approximately 5+ years of experience in a consultative technical role advising large enterprises on technical business transformation solutions.
+ Deep technical expertise in deploying and handling our technology across large and complex enterprise environments.
+ Knowledge of platform security architecture, including security and compliance requirements for regulated industries.
+ A track record of partnering with technology teams to remove technical barriers and enhance ongoing readiness for large-scale platform adoption.
+ Leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence and guide technical and non-technical partners in meaningful situations.
+ Comfortable in high-stakes environments, using conflict as an opportunity to shine and resolve issues in ways that benefit both the customer and the organization.
+ Experience in active listening and debating with a focus on finding the best solutions, even if it means shifting from original ideas.
+ Good communicator, capable of delivering complex technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Experience with commercial Mac client management solutions (e.g., Jamf, Omnissa Workspace One, Microsoft Intune, et al.)
+ Documented experience working in large, complex enterprise IT environments, with deep knowledge of platform deployment, security, and management.
+ Experience with implementing zero touch Mac deployment workflows and return to service workflows.

+ Deep expertise with open-source Mac client management solutions (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Chef, munki, microMDM, et al.)
+ Expertise in enterprise security principles and security products for the Mac platform
+ Expertise with Identity Provider solutions (e.g., Microsoft Entra, Okta, et al.)
+ Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Swift, Ruby, et al.)
+ Expertise with UNIX shells (e.g., Bourne, bash, zsh, et al.)
+ Expertise with telemetry, application performance management, digital employee experience tools (osquery or equivalent)
+ Solid understanding with Windows equivalents of above
