Effectively manage the Executive Hosts and VIP Services. Assists in the development of gaming customers; maintains rapport with current gaming customers and provide VIP gaming customers with special services and hosting; utilizes various marketing tools to acquire, retain, recognize, reward, reactivate and grow the VIP segment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
* Oversees day-to-day operations of the Executive Casino Hosts and VIP Services
* Accepts responsibility for operating department within budgetary guidelines and is accountable for periodic reviews, re-forecast and summaries
* Understands, administers and reviews performance appraisals, sets performance expectations and provides coaching and support
* Instills guest loyalty to Players Club Program by offering benefits equitable to the company and perceived as a value by the customer
* Establishes and maintains the good will of VIP customers based on personal knowledge of the individual, our property and the competitive market
* Assists in planning special events, particularly in developing and penetrating invite lists for special events
* Organizes and participates in off-property functions such as VIP events, charity events and represents the property in public relation appearances
* Responsible for driving incremental trips for targeted gaming customers
* Keeps abreast of competitive promotional methods and provides amenities for gaming customers in accordance with program qualifications
* Conveys terms of programs and explains qualifications and requirements to prospective gaming customers
* Identifies key areas to gain market share and grow business (out of town functions, events in, fight zones, outer market, etc.)
* Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
* Reviews, coaches and holds Team Members accountable for ROI decisions on a player level basis
* Assists with yielding of hotel occupancy and invitation only events
* Oversees wait list process and no-show reporting
* Maintains a rapport with leadership from all guest facing departments to ensure a seamless VIP experience
* Analyzes post-event data and adjust plans accordingly based on trends
* Acts on the behalf of the Director of Player Development in his absence
* All other duties as assigned by the Director of Player Development
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
* Strong skills in analysis, planning and development, communications, customers service and leadership
* Minimum ten years of casino industry experience with a background in player rating, player complimentary issuance, casino systems utilization, customer service, communication and player list extract process
* Must be able to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously, set and meet deadlines
* Must adhere to the professional appearance standards outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
* A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include various shifts, weekends, and holidays
