SUMMARY:The Player Services Representative will be responsible for providing guest service, both internal and external, and safeguarding company funds while maintaining accurate accountability of funds.Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to...Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Promote positive Guest Relations through prompt courteous and efficient service.
  • Respond to reasonable guest requests or place the guest in contact with the appropriate person.
  • Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information.
  • Knowledge of facilities, as well as special events on property, in order or to advise guest of same, whenever possible.
  • Provide guest information as to the use and benefit of the Player's Club Cards. Answer questions pertaining to ratings, complimentary offers, promotions and special events.
  • Issue complimentary gaming incentives as per established point/comp structure.
  • Held accountable, to a very high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of Resort and departmental records and reports.
  • Maintain a current working knowledge and follow all Gaming regulations, policies and procedures of the Resort and Player Services and Title 31 regulation and be able to implement these regulations in his/her capacity as a Player Services Representative.
  • Must be able to operate any and all equipment required to perform duties.
  • Accurately account for cash and paperwork; balance assigned bankroll.
  • Conducting transactions for cash, to include but not limited to processing personal checks and debit/credit card transactions, even money exchanges, markers etc.
  • Redeem gaming instruments with cash value to include but not limited to chips, SDS tickets, promotional vouchers, Sportsbook receipts, etc.
  • Perform cash and chip transactions in the associate windows.
  • Assist other associates, as needed, with Player Services' related matters.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.AGE and GAMING:21 years of age or aboveGaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or GED is required.Previous money handling experience is required (preferably in the field of banking).TESTING:Must score an 85% on the Basic Math Test.Must take the required testing identified for this position.SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such asprobability and statistical inference.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least forty (40) pounds, and stand, sit, and walk for at least 100% of assigned shift.Bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, climb, reach, twist and pulling required.WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke. ***Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property***.
