Job DescriptionWork Location-New Freedom, PAJob Title- PLC EngineerContract duration- 12 monthsSupport design efforts for large commercial HVAC system controls related to data center construction (AI Boom)Additional Skills & QualificationsMust Haves:• PLC and HMI software experience and aptitude ( some or all: Allen Bradley, Red Lion Controls HMI, PanelView, etc.)• Ability to write, understand and troubleshoot PLC software in ladder, function chart, structured text, or sequential function languages• Ability to read, understand, and create electrical and control schematics• Ability to troubleshoot and debug electrical and control circuits• Understanding of process and machine control fundamentals• Ability to manage details of technical requirements including task assignments, tracking and communications• Ability to create electrical schematics and panel design layouts• Ability to manage workload effectively (planning, organization, communication of tasks)• Strong teamwork skills (will be part of multidisciplinary teams working major developments)• Knowledgeable around different Comms Protocols (RS485, RS232, Ethernet)• Experience creating Harness & Power Distribution Drawings• Experience using AutoCAD Electrical• Hybrid potential after training and onsite tools are being utilized and approval is given by the Manager.Nice to Haves:• Refrigeration system knowledge (chillers, heat pumps, etc.)• Mechanical aptitude (connection to the system they're controlling) • Experience with creating BOMs• Experience with FactoryTalk View/Studio (PanelView design and layout)• Experience with Red Lion HMIs and data-stations• Good trainer in CAD tools (inexperienced employee(s) could benefit from partnering with this candidate)• ERP Experience (SAP preferred)• P&ID Experience • Creo Cabling ExperienceEmployee Value Proposition (EVP) - Long term workWork Environment - Hybrid out of New Freedom, PA location Must be able to work onsite
