Responsibilities - Install and configure control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation equipment.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs to control and monitor machinery and processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems and automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and malfunctions in control systems and automation equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to design and implement control system upgrades and modifications.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities, including equipment modifications and software changes.
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on the proper use and maintenance of control systems and automation equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in control systems and automation technology to provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in electrical or automation technology is preferred.
- Minimum one year proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting control systems and automation equipment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI configuration.
- Familiarity with electrical and electronic components, circuits, and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
