Job Title: PLC Technician
Job Description
We are adding several experienced Controls Technicians to our Distribution and Fulfillment team to support new projects. As a PLC Technician, you will design, develop, modify, and evaluate components and processes used in automated warehouses. You will determine design approaches and parameters, analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results. You will select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability, and complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. You may also interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Hard Skills
+ Write and implement machine code
+ Integrate subsystems
+ Assist in all on-site commissioning efforts
+ Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) products such as Wonderware, RSView, and FactoryTalk View
+ Implement basic PLC and HMI programs
+ Review electrical designs and provide accurate as-built drawings
+ Commission complex automated systems
+ Provide site engineering support
+ Complete system acceptance testing
