North America's leading producer of seamless and structural aluminum pipe and tube, as well as the leader in mill standard and custom aluminum extrusions. Operations in Los Angeles, California continue to grow, and they need to hire Maintenance Technicians w/ PLC experience to keep their systems up and running. In this role you will you will conduct preventative/corrective maintenance on the plant's extrusion and forming machines. You will perform mechanical troubleshooting, basic hydraulic, PLC, electrical and repair of machinery. This is an opportunity to build on your mechanical, electrical, and PLC skillsets in the private sector. Growth opportunities exist to move into other engineering or leadership roles down the road. This is a global company with tremendous potential for hard working technicians. Good pay and plenty of overtime opportunity. Openings currently on both day and night shifts but you must be flexible to both - work patterns are 12 hour shifts 4 days on 3 days off working every other weekend. Compensation is approximately $27 - $30/hr with lots of overtime. with total comp typically $70 - $85k+ (Overtime available and built into the schedule). Location is Los Angeles, CA most employees live outside LA in lower cost living areas.
