****Job Description****
Danfoss in Ames, Iowa is searching for an IT Intern to join their team in supporting our Engineering applications for Summer 2022. The preferred candidates will be at Junior standing or above.
****Job Responsibilities****
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following.
* Review global documentation and transform them following established guidelines/templates.
* Process and follow-up on Incidents, Service Requests and participate in Problem Ticket discussions
* Assist in preparing/updating Engineering software packages
* Help in developing and delivering automated solutions for different software processes
* Support various engineering business-critical applications
* Other duties as required.
****Background & Skills****
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
* Pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
* Junior classification or above
* Customer-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in technical writing is preferred
* Coding and scripting skill using Python, PowerShell, and/or C# is a plus
* Experience with ANSYS, Siemens Products (e.g Teamcenter, NX, Rulestream), and Azure DevOps is a plus
