Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Plumber / Irrigation Mechanic, the incumbent adjust repairs, troubleshoots and maintains all facilities plumbing system and applications. Must have knowledge of local plumbing codes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.

* Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.

* Conducts walk - through inspections, of domestic water systems to include water booster pumps, gauges and boiler temperature readings

* Repairs showers, sinks, toilets, water booster pumps and on and off-site facilities

* Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment

* Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate

* Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately

* Maintains tools, equipment and supplies in good, clean, operating order

* Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.

* Performs all duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred as well as minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with commercial / industrial plumbing or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Work Environment:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

* The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

* The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.

* Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
