Job Description:
This is a direct-placement role at McMackin Mechanical. Abstrakt Marketing Group is only assisting with their hiring efforts.Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Install and Service Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and servicing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure the efficient installation of new plumbing systems and the prompt resolution of service calls, providing our clients with high-quality plumbing solutions. Responsibilities: •Install plumbing systems and components in new construction projects and existing buildings. •Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of plumbing systems. •Cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings, ensuring proper alignment and connection. •Install fixtures such as sinks, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and appliances. •Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other specialized tools. •Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure functionality and longevity. •Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair plumbing issues promptly and effectively. •Communicate with clients to explain repairs and provide recommendations for system improvements. •Adhere to plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards in all work performed. •Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. •Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in plumbing technology. Requirements Requirements: •Proven experience as an Install and Service Plumber or a similar role in the plumbing industry. •Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, components, and installation techniques. •Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. •Proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment. •Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. •Strong customer service and communication skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Trade school certification with 1 year experience or 3+ years of experience. •Clean driving record and reliable transportation. •Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and work in various environments. Preferred Qualifications: •Journey or Master Plumbers License. •Additional certifications or licenses related to plumbing or specific manufacturers' products. •Experience with commercial plumbing systems and installations.
