Position Summary Information
Position Summary
Repair and install pumps on heating systems.
Repair and maintain kitchen equipment.
Repair, maintain, and install steam valves, steam traps, expansion joints, and regulator valves. Repair and install steam, water lines.
Repair, maintain, and replace all plumbing fixtures.
Clean and repair all rain and down spouts, catch basins.
Repair, maintain and replace hot water tanks.
Perform welding repairs on flanges and steam lines.
Order parts and tools as needed.
Lay out plumbing jobs.
Test and repair backflow preventers.
Test and maintain swimming pools and associated equipment.
Must have a valid drivers license
Backflow Prevention Testing Certification, Swimming Pools/Pesticide Applicator Certification and PA Water System Operator Certification are required to perform certain work assignments. The Backflow Prevention Testing Certification, Swimming Pools/Pesticide Applicator Certification and PA Water System Operator Certification, if not possessed at the time of hire, must be obtained during the new hire probationary period. Minimum Qualifications
4 years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
A successful interview and passing a criminal background check required.
