The Plumber performs plumbing duties required to ensure continuous and safe operation of hospital water and waste systems and equipment. This position maintains major plumbing components and fire protection systems. The Plumber works in conjunction with other maintenance and facilities staff. Responsibilities
  • Provides effective and responsible plumbing system repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain plumbing schematic drawings, service manuals, and operating manuals.
  • Inspection, performance testing, preventative maintenance and safety certification of hospital plumbing and gas systems.
  • Supervise plumber/pipefitter contractors to ensure standards and codes are met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Formal education as a plumber/pipefitter.
  • Current plumber's license.
  • Minimum three years of experience.
