Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a Plumber for a Contract job with a client in Greenville, SC. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining piping, water lines, and drainage systems according to standards. Rate Range: $32/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Plumber job responsibilities include:
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining piping, water lines, drainage systems, and process piping in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on plumbing systems, including hot water systems, boilers, and filters.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, piping schematics, and specifications to ensure proper installation and repairs.
  • Conducting site visits and surveys to estimate costs for installations and repairs.
  • Completing accurate documentation, including timesheets, service reports, and expense logs.
  • Following all company safety standards and procedures during work tasks.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving plumbing system issues such as leaks, backflows, and drainage problems.
  • Installing new and replacement parts in compliance with manufacturer specifications to maintain warranties.
Desired Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a Plumbing Apprenticeship Program is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable plumbing experience in service and remodeling.
  • Must possess a State or jurisdiction Master Plumbing License.
  • Valid driver's license for transportation to various job sites.
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
