Pay $60,000- $120,000 yearly Job Overview: A CGC plumber is an integral member of the plumbing team. He or she will work alongside a team of like-minded team members who support and encourage each other. We believe that the customer is best served by offering all of our products and services. A CGC plumber confidently recommends the best solution to our customers. The Journeyman/Commercial Plumber performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to: Provides exceptional customer service. Sell, install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and components. Identify required tools and special equipment. Review building plans and make specifications to determine the layout of plumbing and material. Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures. Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks. Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet code requirements. Install, repair and maintain water heaters, conditioners and water treatment equipment. Mentor fellow employees to enhance their skill sets. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and worksite. Load and unload work van. Drive to service calls and installation appointments. Take payments at customer homes. Use safety procedures and equipment. Assist in training employees on plumbing in a classroom setting and in the field. Qualifications & Abilities: Apprentice and/or Journeyman license in the state of Michigan. Must keep license up to date. 1-3 years of successful plumbing service, installs, and sales in residential and or commercial setting. Commercial plumbing is a plus. Driver's License (Required). Must be willing to cross train. Ability to learn and train teammates Work Environment & Physical Requirements: •Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds •Ability to spend most of the day on the road driving •Ability to stand for extended periods of time •Work while stooped, kneeling, crouched, and crawling positions •Ability to perform heavy lifting up and down stairs •Can work by self and on a team Benefits.
