Job Title: Plumbing Mechanic - Commercial ConstructionPosition Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as a Plumbing Mechanic for projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your skills in the trade, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers. Responsibilities:Thorough knowledge in the plumbing trade including layout, install (under and above ground)Experience installing fixturesExperience seeing installs from start to finishAbility to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprintsWork as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprenticesMust be open to helping other mechanical trades as neededMust be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finishMust have a valid driver's license and dependable transportationRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentVocational school or prior training preferred.Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to safety and following established protocols.Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
