Job Description:
Repairs and installs plumbing systems, such as sinks, toilets, valves, faucets, water heaters, hot and cold water lines, sewer piping and steam piping. Maintains hospital oxygen and vacuum piping lines. Installs new equipment, including toilets (wall and floor) and sinks throughout the hospital. Skillfully uses tools such as pipe cutters, threading equipment and various types of wrenches, etc.EducationTrade School : Successful completion of a Technical Trade School Program in plumbing or current/valid Journeyman Plumber license (Required)Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Experience4 Years experience in hospital plumbing systems or comparable role (Required)General Experience and knowledge of applicable fire codes and DOH / JCAHO standards (Required)General Experience with and the ability to read and interpret blueprints (Required)License/CertificationsLJP - Licensed Journeyman Plumber (Preferred)DRIVER - Drivers License (Required)Your Tomorrow is Here!Temple Health is a dynamic network of outstanding hospitals, specialty centers, and physician practices that is advancing the fight against disease, pushing the boundaries of medical science, and educating future healthcare professionals.
