GEM is hiring a Plumbing Apprentice to work within our Commercial Plumbing Service department in our Bellingham, MA location. This position is full time, 40 hours a week with overtime. This is an onsite position with daily travel to jobsites within MA and RI.

Essential Job Functions

• Installation: Install new plumbing fixtures, water and vacuum systems, and more
• Repair: Repair pipes, toilets, sinks, and other systems
• Maintenance: Maintain plumbing systems and ensure they are in safe working condition
• Troubleshooting: Identify problems and failures in plumbing systems
• Equipment: Prepare tools and equipment for each job, and ensure materials are available
• Cleaning: Clean job sites after work is complete
• Training: Attend on-the-job training and other classes

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification
• Must hold a Massachusetts Plumbing Apprentice Card
• Hot Works certificate preferred
• Valid driver's license
