**DESCRIPTION:**

As a **Plumbing Designer** at WDF Inc., reporting to **VP - Mechanical Operations** you will be:

+ Responsible for designing plumbing systems for modular structures

+ Managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing technical guidance

+ Ensure all plumbing systems are installed correctly, meet quality standards, and meet client expectations

+ Under limited supervision, coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents

+ Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems

+ Process contractor submittals

+ Perform feasibility studies

+ Prepare limited construction cost estimates within discipline

+ Develop, maintain, and use standard details

+ Adhere to budgets and meeting schedule requirements

**REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution desired

+ Seven (7) + years of experience in plumbing design, preferably with experience in designing plumbing systems for modular structures

+ Experience with Revit and AutoCAD to create plumbing system designs

+ Proficient in the Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD 2008 or newer. (AutoCAD MEP & Revit a Plus)

+ Design/Build Project experience including Commercial, Mixed-Use, Educational, Institutional, high-Rise, Life sciences, etc.

+ Knowledge of local Code & Standards, regulatory and LEED requirements

+ Excellent written and verbal skills

**Salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000 depending on experience**
