- 3+ years of experience in commercial plumbing estimation or a similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors
- Familiarity with estimating software such as AccuBid, Trimble Estimation, FastPipe, or similar programs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A PLUMBING ESTIMATION SPECIALIST? You will have a standard full-time schedule, Monday through Friday. Occasionally, flexibility may be required to accommodate project needs and client meetings. In this role, you will meticulously analyze project blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial projects. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, you will gather essential information and collaborate to develop comprehensive bid proposals. Conducting on-site assessments, utilizing advanced estimating software, and presenting bid proposals to clients will also be part of your daily responsibilities.
