Premium Plumbing is seeking an experienced and motivated Bilingual Plumbing Foreman to lead our growing team. This individual will play a crucial role in managing a skilled group of plumbers while actively participating in commercial plumbing work. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has a proven track record of managing teams, and is up-to-date with Florida commercial plumbing codes. This role requires a strong knowledge of commercial plumbing, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to high-quality work. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of plumbers on various commercial projects, ensuring all work complies with Florida commercial plumbing codes.
- Perform hands-on plumbing work while overseeing project execution, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Accurately read, interpret, and execute work based on blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members and clients.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of a bilingual or Spanish-speaking team.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or similar leadership role, specifically in commercial plumbing.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluency required).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Florida commercial plumbing codes, systems, materials, and practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.
