Position Overview
We seek a skilled Project Manager with commercial HVAC and plumbing systems expertise for high-profile projects in Phoenix, AZ. This role is designed for an experienced local candidate with a stable work history managing complex mechanical construction projects, including hospitals, data centers, high-rise buildings, schools, and hotels. This position requires technical proficiency and strong leadership to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end commercial HVAC and plumbing project lifecycle, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
- Act as the primary project liaison, coordinating between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Effectively manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to support seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and address project risks, ensuring adherence to safety codes, regulations, and quality standards relevant to large-scale projects.
- Manage project documentation, including schedules, RFIs, submittals, and budget reports, using Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of project management experience within commercial HVAC and plumbing sectors, with a track record in large-scale projects such as hospitals, airports, high-rises, or similar facilities.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is strongly preferred; equivalent field experience with demonstrated project expertise will also be considered.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks is essential.
- Established work history with reputable mechanical construction firms in Phoenix, AZ, demonstrating stability and reliability.
- Familiarity with Phoenix-specific construction codes, standards, and best practices.
