As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of plumbing tasks in the prefabrication shop. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities:
- Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local and state plumbing codes.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and configuration of plumbing systems.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete plumbing projects efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-trade projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Mentor and supervise apprentices and helpers within the prefabrication shop.
- Provide excellent customer service to field and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of [3-5] years of experience working as a Journeyman Plumber.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work full-time hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
