Will interpret construction blueprints, monitor plumbing and other facilities. Maintains, and repairs plumbing equipment, responding to emergencies, troubleshoots system malfunctions, and compiling labor/material cost information. Typical Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: •High school diploma or equivalent •Four (4) years of related maintenance and equipment operation work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience •Certified Plumber preferred •Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with good driving record •Basic communication, comprehension, computer, and math skills required Supplemental Information All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment.
