What We're Looking For
We're seeking a dedicated Production Manager with 7+ years of experience in plumbing, and an expertise for leadership and organization.
Education & Licensing:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A valid North Carolina Plumbing License preferred. Don't have one yet? Apply as a technician, and we'll help you achieve your goal!
Experience & Skills:
- At least 7 years of practical plumbing experience (commercial experience preferred).
- Prior experience managing a team and overseeing plumbing projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple deadlines and budgets.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with customers, technicians, and management.
- Familiarity with North Carolina plumbing codes and regulations, with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt to change and continuously seek process improvements.
Other Requirements:
- A valid driver's license for travel to job sites.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including occasional heavy lifting and working in various conditions.
What You'll Do
As a Plumbing Production Manager, you'll:
- Oversee plumbing projects to ensure they stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, including material purchasing.
- Train and support technicians to develop their skills and maintain company standards.
- Communicate regularly with upper management about project progress and team performance.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and North Carolina plumbing codes.
- Evaluate resources to optimize production efficiency.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by addressing challenges and recognizing achievements.
