Job Summary

We seek an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to oversee and execute high-profile commercial plumbing projects across the Los Angeles area. This role requires a dynamic individual with in-depth knowledge of construction management, focusing on plumbing systems for tenant improvements, large-scale commercial builds, and special projects. Expertise in estimating, project planning, and sales, alongside technical proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble AutoBid is essential. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of managing teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of commercial plumbing projects, from initial planning to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines while implementing strategies to optimize cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Build strong client relationships by ensuring project satisfaction and exploring additional work and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including estimators, superintendents, and field personnel, to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control, and project schedules.
  • Utilize project management software tools, including Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble AutoBid, to monitor project progress, performance, and cost tracking, making adjustments to stay on target.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience within the commercial plumbing industry.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial plumbing projects, including tenant improvements and special projects.
  • Demonstrated estimating, sales, and project management proficiency for commercial plumbing systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble AutoBid for accurate project tracking and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Los Angeles building codes and local regulatory requirements.
  • Local and stable work history demonstrating successful project delivery within the commercial mechanical construction sector.
