The PM Admission Nurse will work closely with the Admissions Director and PM Nurse Supervisor to ensure all new or returning patients have a smooth admission.PM Admissions Nurse Job Duties:Review referral packet and discharge summary.Verify room readiness.If any special equipment is needed, be sure these items are in the patient's room prior to admission.Upon admission, meet patient in the room immediately.Notify all team members of the patient's arrival and their name.Introduce patient to call light, show tv operation, room number, phone number to facility and orientate to surroundings.Process for new admissions (ex: name tags, stickers, admit board)Complete admission data collection toolsEnter medication ordersINDrn, INDlpn
