Job Summary: The Manager of PMO is responsible for overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO) and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. This role involves developing and implementing project management methodologies, standards, and tools tosupport the successful delivery of projects. The PMO Manager will also provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.Duties and Responsibilities:• Responsible for the planning and implementation of key projects to support the strategic objectives of OrthoVirginia• Develop and implement PMO processes, standards, and methodologies.• Provide leadership and support to project managers and teams.• Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to project management best practices.• Facilitate project prioritization and resource allocation.• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with PMO standards.• Manage project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.• Develop and deliver training programs for project management staff and other leaders.• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, performance, and outcomes to executive leadership.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.• Enhance professional expertise by engaging in learning activities, reviewing industry literature, expanding personal connections, and joining professional groupsQualifications:• A bachelor's degree or master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a PMO.• Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.• Demonstrates proficiency with project management software and tools for tracking and communicating the progress of projects.• Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and regulations is a plus.Pre-Employment background check, drug screen and TB test required for all new hires.OrthoVirginia, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#STATEOV
