What You'll Be Doing

As a PMO Professional Consultant in Houston, you will play a key role in driving major projects in the region. Here's a look at your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive schedules, timelines, and cost plans that align with client objectives and business goals.
• Communication Leadership: Lead project communications, ensuring updates are clear and timely for all stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks, create contingency plans, and proactively address challenges before they escalate.
• Innovation Solutions: Provide creative and effective solutions for project delivery, navigating complex issues with ease.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective input throughout project life cycles.

Who You Are

You are not just a project manager—you are a seasoned professional with a passion for project management excellence. You have: 5-8 years of experience under your belt, a bachelor's degree, and ideally a PMP certification, you're ready to tackle whatever comes your way. Agile, Waterfall, and Kanban aren't just buzzwords to you—they're tools in your PM toolkit.

The Fine Print

This is a HYBRID role based in the Greater Houston area. You'll be onsite 4 days a week and can enjoy the flexibility of working remotely 1 day. Sorry, but relocation assistance isn't provided.

What to Expect During the Interview Process:

• Introductory Call: We'll kick things off with a casual 15-20 minute conversation with our Talent Partner. It's a chance to break the ice and see if we're a good fit—bonus points if you bring your Houston charm!
• Microsoft Teams or In-Person Interview: Next up is a 1-hour chat with a Business Manager. Whether virtually or in person, we'll dive into your experience, what you bring to the table, and maybe even trade some Houston restaurant recommendations.
• Technical Interview: Here's where it gets exciting! You'll review a case study for 1 hour and then present your findings to one of our Business Managers. This part happens onsite in our Downtown Houston office, so prepare for great views and even better conversation! We promise—no traffic will be involved during the interview itself.
