Job Description The position requirement is to deliver demand management (intake for business requests), portfolio management and oversight and reporting solutions for defined programs within the EITS (IT) PMO and Governance group. It requires a broad background with financial management, program and project management, service level agreements, objectives, incident reporting, demand management, process and procedure development, change management and risk analysis.The role requires subject matter leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex and diverse landscapes.In addition, the PMO Program Director will need to interact effectively as a team lead and liaison with our business partners.This position will be responsible for managing and leading multiple direct reports as well. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Management experience, including personnel, program, project and budget creation
  • Has created solution development life cycle processes with cross team and domain solution reviews
  • Possess a sound understanding of IT general application and computer control objectives based on industry standards
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Has created and implementedIT operational processes and procedures
  • Has created and implementedprocesses for demand intake, prioritization and change management
  • Possess strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Is customer service focused, with good communication skills, able to liaise with other teams and departments
  • Is a self-starter, self-supervised and possess very strong influencing skills
  • Leads, motivates, and provides training and coaching to team members in order to support Corporate and IT PMO requirements
Minimum Qualifications 1. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in hospital administration, health care planning, business administration, public administration or an approved related program and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and inter-organizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or 2. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and inter-organizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or 3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience. However, all candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Department Preferences Certification(S)/NYS Licenses/Education:
  • Heavily Preferred:Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired
  • Nice to Have:Certified Scrum Master
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:
  • Budget Management
  • ServiceNow Demand / Project Module
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Project, Visio and SharePoint tools
  • Knowledgeable in agile, specifically scrum methodology
Years of Experience:
  • 8-10 years' experience in IT Program Mgmt.
